Uno de los tesoros naturales sobre los que descansa la reputación ambiental internacional de nuestro país es sin duda la región de Osa. El Área de Conservación Osa (ACOSA) encierra entre sus tesoros varias de las gemas de nuestro sistema de áreas protegidas: Los parque nacionales Corcovado, Bahía Ballena, la Reserva Biológica Isla del Caño y el Humedal Nacional Térraba-Sierpe entre otros. Los sistemas silvopastoriles tienen el potencial de ser excelentes alternativas para resolver algunos de los conflictos ambientales tradicionales que caracterizan a zonas como el Corredor Biológico Osa. (leer todo).
In this program, participants will get to know the negative impacts of monocultures, which are prominent in the southern region of the country. They will also have the opportunity to meet and learn from the efforts of local communities to implement forms of agriculture that facilitate sustainable management of natural resources. The program also gives groups the opportunity to visit ecotourism projects that have been developed in these communities and learn about the cultural diversity of the area. (leer todo).
